SK820 Series Split Core Current Transformer

The VTEKE SK820 Series is a split core current transformer for current measurement in low-voltage electrical systems. The core is closed by screws and nuts, so the transformer can be installed on an existing cable or busbar without breaking the primary circuit — which makes it suited to retrofits and to panels that cannot be taken out of service. Different current ratios, accuracy classes and rated burden (VA) options are available to meet various measurement requirements.

Designed for retrofit and maintenance work in low-voltage installations: the core opens so the transformer can be fitted around an existing cable or busbar without disconnecting the conductor, converting high primary currents into standardized current values suitable for electrical measuring, metering and monitoring devices.
